Equipment Hauling Around Round Valley Reservoir and Spruce Run Recreation Area
Annandale sits in the Hunterdon hills, so a lot of the work is grading, excavation and property development on sloped ground. Mini excavators and compact loaders move between driveways and building lots, and farm tractors and implements shuttle to dealers. Round Valley and Spruce Run draw seasonal construction and maintenance equipment as well.
Equipment demand around Annandale follows the construction season, which starts as the ground thaws in March and runs hard until the first freeze. Snow removal equipment moves the other way in November, and farm machinery heads to dealers for winter service. Wet springs make loading on soft ground slower, so we ask about the surface early.

Routes and Job Sites Near Annandale
Most hauls from Annandale start on I-78 or Route 31, then branch to the county roads that reach job sites. Narrow rural entrances and steep drives matter more than distance, so we ask about gates, grades and soft ground ahead of time and pick a trailer that can load on a slope.
Loading on a Hunterdon hillside usually means finding the flattest spot near the entrance. We can bring ramps or a tilt trailer for tracked machines, and a crane truck for anything that cannot be driven on. Wide loads on I-78 or Route 31 need permits, which our office handles.
Scheduling an Equipment Haul in Annandale
To schedule a haul in Annandale, call with the machine, its weight, the pickup address and where it is going. If the site is on a steep drive or soft ground, say so. We will line up the right trailer and give you a pickup window you can plan the day around.
