Equipment Hauling Around the Delaware River and the village of Frenchtown

Dave's oversize load hauler carrying a large dump truck

Hay equipment, tractors and implements are the core of local hauling here, with mini excavators and compact loaders for new barns, ponds and driveways. Equipment dealers and auctions in the Delaware valley send machines in and out, and contractors working near Frenchtown bring in dozers and trenchers for utility and foundation work.

Hay season in early summer and harvest in the fall fill the roads around Baptistown with tractors and implements, and equipment dealers see their busiest hauling then. Winter is quieter but brings snow equipment and equipment for barn repairs. Spring mud can make field loading difficult.

Routes and Job Sites Near Baptistown

Routes in and out of Baptistown use Route 12 and County Route 579, and many farm entrances are single lane with little room to turn a long trailer. We scout access with you before the haul so the driver arrives with the right trailer and a plan for turning around.

Farm fields rarely have a solid pad for loading, so we look for a gravel entrance or a firm edge and use winch lines when needed. Narrow lanes may call for a shorter trailer. Bring the keys and make sure the machine is accessible before the driver arrives.

Scheduling an Equipment Haul in Baptistown

Call us with the machine, the pickup address and the delivery address, and mention any gate, ditch or soft field at either end. If the machine is not running, tell us so we can bring a winch. We will confirm the day and an arrival window.

Equipment Transport Questions in Baptistown

How do I get a quote for an equipment haul?

Call 800-624-6079 and tell us what the machine is, its approximate weight and dimensions, where it is and where it is going. Make, model and attachments help us quote accurately and choose the right trailer.

Do you handle oversize and overweight loads?

We haul oversize loads and our office handles the permitting so the move is legal and uninterrupted. Tell us the dimensions and weight early, since permits and any escorts take planning.

Can you pick up a machine in Baptistown the same day?

Same day pickups are often possible when a trailer and driver are free. Our yard is at 87 Old Camplain Road in Hillsborough and we run hauls all around Central NJ, so call early with the location in Baptistown and the size of the machine and we will tell you what is possible.

Where should the driver meet me near the Delaware River?

Tell dispatch the street address of the job site or the closest cross street to the Delaware River, plus anything about access such as a gate, a soft lot or low wires. We will plan the trailer and the approach around that.

What Our Customers Say

“Our loaded semi slid off the shoulder into a ditch, and Dave's Heavy Towing had a truck on scene within the hour. The crew worked carefully, kept the trailer and cargo intact, and had us upright and back on the road. They're true professionals at heavy recovery, and they're the only call we'll make from now on.”

Jennifer Google Review

“We needed an excavator moved between job sites and the load is OD. Dave's Heavy Towing took care of the permits and they delivered it on our schedule. They made an oversized haul feel easy.”
