Blawenburg is a quiet village in Montgomery Township, centered on the Blawenburg Reformed Church and surrounded by farmland, with the Sourland Mountain ridge to the south. Roads here are narrow and rural, so a truck that leaves the pavement often ends up in a field or ditch. We carry the winch capacity to pull it out without tearing up the edge of a farm or a lawn.
If it is too big or too heavy for a standard tow truck, we tow it in Blawenburg. Our heavy duty towing services in Blawenburg include:
When a truck or trailer leaves the road, a tow is not enough. Our heavy recovery services in Blawenburg include:
We also provide heavy duty recovery across Central NJ, mobile truck repair, mobile crane service, secure storage at our Hillsborough yard and equipment transport in Blawenburg across Somerset County.
Montgomery Township's farm country produces a particular kind of heavy tow call: loaded hay wagons and grain trucks that drop a wheel into a drainage ditch, landscaping trucks that sink in soft lawn, and school buses that slide on frosty mornings. Most jobs here are off road recoveries where winching, not hauling, is the main work.
After a wet week, the clay soil around Blawenburg holds water, and anything heavy can sink quickly on a shoulder or a field entrance. Fall harvest brings grain trucks and wagons to narrow roads, and winter fog on the open farmland makes slide offs more likely at dawn.
Many roads near Blawenburg run past farm fields with no landmarks, so give us the road name and the nearest crossroads. If your truck is in a field or ditch, tell us how far off the pavement it is and whether it is loaded, so we can bring the right amount of winch line and ground protection. Please do not try to drive out, since that usually digs the wheels in deeper.
In Blawenburg we work the roads that actually serve the area, including County Route 518. We also respond in nearby Skillman, Belle Mead, Rocky Hill and Hopewell and across the rest of Central NJ.

Heavy duty towing covers vehicles that are too big or too heavy for a standard tow truck, such as semi trucks, tractor-trailers, buses, motor coaches, RVs, dump trucks, garbage trucks and fire trucks. It takes a heavy wrecker or rotator, trained operators and the right rigging, which is what we run out of our Hillsborough yard.
Semi trucks and tractor-trailers are a big part of our work. We tow tractors, loaded and empty trailers and full combinations, and we can handle load shifts, load transfers and trailer storage when a trailer cannot be moved on its own.
