The hill through Rocky Hill is steep, and big trucks come through it on County Route 518 more often than you would expect. We tow box trucks, delivery trucks, buses and work trucks from this small Somerset County borough near Princeton.
A live dispatcher answers every call, for towing and for recovery. Call 800-624-6079 and a wrecker starts moving toward Rocky Hill.
Rocky Hill is a historic borough along the Millstone River and the Delaware and Raritan Canal, home to the Rockingham State Historic Site where George Washington once lived. County Route 518 climbs steeply through the center of town, and large trucks need a careful hand. Our operators take it slowly and handle every tow right.
If it is too big or too heavy for a standard tow truck, we tow it in Rocky Hill. Our heavy duty towing services in Rocky Hill include:
When a truck or trailer leaves the road, a tow is not enough. Our heavy recovery services in Rocky Hill include:
We also provide heavy duty recovery across Central NJ, mobile truck repair, mobile crane service, secure storage at our Hillsborough yard and equipment transport in Rocky Hill across Somerset County.
Rocky Hill's steep County Route 518 and the narrow streets near the canal are hard on trucks. Delivery trucks and box trucks lose traction on the hill, buses stall near the center of town, and landscape trucks slide off tight corners. Because the borough is small and hilly, there is little room to work, and we position the wrecker carefully.
Rocky Hill's steep hill and narrow streets make winter the hardest season: ice on County Route 518 can stop a loaded truck cold. Spring rain loosens the road edges near the canal, and summer thunderstorms flood the low spots by the river.
Give us the street and the nearest cross street, and tell us which way your truck is facing on the hill. If you are near the canal or the Rockingham site, mention it. We will chock and secure the truck before we hook up.
In Rocky Hill we work the roads that actually serve the area, including County Route 518 and Route 27. We also respond in nearby Kingston, Franklin Park, Skillman and Princeton and across the rest of Central NJ.
