Basking Ridge is a Somerset Hills town with a lot of commuter and commercial traffic on I-287, US 202 and the roads that feed them. Dave's Heavy Towing is a regular on Bernards Township roads and works with the Bernards Township Police Department. If your truck is stopped near Lord Stirling Park or in one of the office park lots, we will bring the right equipment the first time.
If it is too big or too heavy for a standard tow truck, we tow it in Basking Ridge. Our heavy duty towing services in Basking Ridge include:
When a truck or trailer leaves the road, a tow is not enough. Our heavy recovery services in Basking Ridge include:
We also provide heavy duty recovery across Central NJ, mobile truck repair, mobile crane service, secure storage at our Hillsborough yard and equipment transport in Basking Ridge across Somerset County.
Basking Ridge sees a lot of commercial traffic that does not look like trucking at first glance: coach buses for the corporate offices, landscaping crews working large properties, box trucks delivering to the shopping districts and heavy equipment on the way to new construction. Heavy tow calls come from the I-287 ramps, from US 202, and from the tree lined roads where a bus or box truck can clip a low branch or soft shoulder.
Basking Ridge deals with rush hour year round, so a breakdown on I-287 or US 202 turns into a crawl fast. Fall leaves make the winding roads slick, winter storms hit the elevated ramps first, and summer afternoon storms add flooding to low spots near the Passaic River and Lord Stirling Park.
From Basking Ridge we can usually tell a caller which side of I-287 or US 202 we will approach from, which helps if you are stopped on a ramp. Give dispatch a mile marker, an exit name or the nearest cross street, and mention whether the truck is loaded. We carry the equipment to unload or transfer cargo on scene if a trailer cannot be moved as is.
In Basking Ridge we work the roads that actually serve the area, including I-287 and US 202. We also respond in nearby Liberty Corner, Lyons, Bernardsville and Far Hills and across the rest of Central NJ.
