The big VA campus brings ambulances, delivery trucks and buses to Lyons, a small Bernards Township community. We tow box trucks, buses, delivery trucks and work trucks there with 24 hour service.
A live dispatcher answers every call, for towing and for recovery. Call 800-624-6079 and a wrecker starts moving toward Lyons.
Lyons is known for the Lyons VA Medical Center and the Lyons station on the Gladstone Branch, with I-287 a short drive away. Delivery trucks and ambulance traffic share the roads, so a stalled truck here has to be cleared quickly. Our operators plan the safest and fastest recovery.
If it is too big or too heavy for a standard tow truck, we tow it in Lyons. Our heavy duty towing services in Lyons include:
When a truck or trailer leaves the road, a tow is not enough. Our heavy recovery services in Lyons include:

Lyons is small, but the VA campus and the train station bring a steady flow of buses, delivery trucks and service vehicles. Calls here are often box trucks and buses with mechanical trouble, delivery trucks stuck on narrow streets and trucks stalled on the roads leading to I-287. Quick clearing matters, since the roads around the VA are used by ambulances.
Lyons's small roads and hospital traffic mean that winter storms and heavy rain are felt quickly. Ice on the hills toward Basking Ridge makes ambulance routes slick, and summer thunderstorms flood the low spots near the rail line, stalling trucks that try to cross.
Give dispatch the street and the nearest cross street, and tell us if you are near the VA campus entrance or the train station. If your truck is blocking an ambulance route, say so and we will notify the police. We will confirm the wrecker and give you an arrival estimate.
In Lyons we work the roads that actually serve the area, including I-287 and Valley Road. We also respond in nearby Basking Ridge, Liberty Corner, Bernardsville and Far Hills and across the rest of Central NJ.

Heavy duty towing covers vehicles that are too big or too heavy for a standard tow truck, such as semi trucks, tractor-trailers, buses, motor coaches, RVs, dump trucks, garbage trucks and fire trucks. It takes a heavy wrecker or rotator, trained operators and the right rigging, which is what we run out of our Hillsborough yard.
Semi trucks and tractor-trailers are a big part of our work. We tow tractors, loaded and empty trailers and full combinations, and we can handle load shifts, load transfers and trailer storage when a trailer cannot be moved on its own.
The price depends on the size of the truck, the equipment needed, the distance and the time of day, and recovery work is priced by the hour. Call 800-624-6079, describe the vehicle and where it is, and dispatch will give you a clear quote before we roll.
