Colonia is a residential section of Woodbridge Township along Inman Avenue, with the Garden State Parkway a short distance away and a steady stream of delivery vehicles on local streets. Trucks that break down on these streets block traffic quickly, and low wires and parked cars add to the challenge. Our operators work tight streets every day and keep the tow quick and damage free.
If it is too big or too heavy for a standard tow truck, we tow it in Colonia. Our heavy duty towing services in Colonia include:
When a truck or trailer leaves the road, a tow is not enough. Our heavy recovery services in Colonia include:
We also provide heavy duty recovery across Central NJ, mobile truck repair, mobile crane service, secure storage at our Hillsborough yard and equipment transport in Colonia across Middlesex County.
Colonia's heavy tows are mostly local: delivery trucks and box trucks on Inman Avenue and the neighborhood streets, school buses with mechanical problems, and landscape trucks that get stuck on lawns during the spring. When a truck stalls near a residential block, the main challenge is working around parked cars and overhead wires.
Colonia's tree lined streets drop leaves, branches and sometimes entire limbs in fall and summer storms, and heavy trucks do not always clear the low hanging ones. Winter slush turns the Inman Avenue side streets slick, and summer heat brings more tire and cooling trouble on the Parkway.
Give dispatch the street name and the nearest cross street, and tell us if the truck is blocking a driveway or traffic lane. If low wires are an issue, mention them so we can plan the pull. We will bring a wrecker sized for the street and keep the tow clean.

It takes a heavy wrecker or rotator, trained operators and the right rigging, which is what we run out of our Hillsborough yard.
