Long Valley sits in a long valley between Schooleys Mountain and the hills near Hacklebarney State Park, with Route 24 the main road. Steep grades and winding roads make breakdowns and rollovers more likely for loaded trucks. We carry the heavy winch capacity to deal with these terrain challenges.
If it is too big or too heavy for a standard tow truck, we tow it in Long Valley. Our heavy duty towing services in Long Valley include:
When a truck or trailer leaves the road, a tow is not enough. Our heavy recovery services in Long Valley include:
We also provide heavy duty recovery across Central NJ, mobile truck repair, mobile crane service, secure storage at our Hillsborough yard and equipment transport in Long Valley across Morris County.
Long Valley's hills produce grade related calls. Loaded dump trucks and box trucks lose brakes or power on Schooleys Mountain Road and Route 24, tractor-trailers jackknife in winter, and landscape trucks slide off soft shoulders. The valley's long straight stretches also see trucks that stall far from any cross street.
Long Valley collects cold air and fog, and winter storms hit the Schooleys Mountain grades with ice. Spring runoff softens the shoulders along Route 24, and in summer and fall, visitors to the nearby state parks bring RVs and trailers onto narrow roads.
Tell dispatch the road name and direction, and the nearest business or landmark you passed. If your truck is on a slope, tell us whether it is parked or rolling. We will bring a wrecker with the winch capacity for the terrain and give you an arrival estimate.
