Fast Route 22 traffic makes a stalled truck in Mountainside dangerous, so speed matters. We tow box trucks, delivery trucks, buses, tractor-trailers and work trucks and handle recoveries on the Watchung Reservation side roads.
A live dispatcher answers every call, for towing and for recovery. Call 800-624-6079 and a wrecker starts moving toward Mountainside.
Mountainside is a Union County borough with Route 22 running through, the Watchung Reservation on one side and Echo Lake Park nearby. The Route 22 traffic is heavy and fast, and truck breakdowns on that road are risky and time sensitive. Our operators are experienced working along Route 22 and clear it quickly.
If it is too big or too heavy for a standard tow truck, we tow it in Mountainside. Our heavy duty towing services in Mountainside include:
When a truck or trailer leaves the road, a tow is not enough. Our heavy recovery services in Mountainside include:
We also provide heavy duty recovery across Central NJ, mobile truck repair, mobile crane service, secure storage at our Hillsborough yard and equipment transport in Mountainside across Union County.
Route 22 produces the most serious calls in Mountainside, with tractor-trailers and box trucks breaking down in fast moving lanes. Elsewhere, the hills and winding streets near the Watchung Reservation bring slide offs, brake failures and landscape trucks stuck on slopes. Because Route 22 is so busy, protecting the scene is part of every call there.
Mountainside's Route 22 and the Watchung Reservation roads freeze early, and wet snow sticks to the hills long before it sticks to the valley. Summer storms drop limbs onto narrow roads, and fall leaves on the curves near the reservoir cause slide offs.
If you are on Route 22, tell us your direction, the nearest cross street and which lane you are in. Stay in a safe place away from traffic, and call 911 for any injury. We will coordinate with the police for scene protection and plan the approach to avoid blocking more of the highway than necessary.
In Mountainside we work the roads that actually serve the area, including Route 22 and the Watchung Reservation. We also respond in nearby Berkeley Heights, Scotch Plains, Westfield and Watchung and across the rest of Central NJ.

We tow box trucks, cube vans, delivery vans and step vans, including UPS and FedEx style trucks. Our fleet includes medium duty units, so you are not billed for a bigger wrecker than the job needs.
