Rosemont's rural Delaware Township roads see farm trucks, horse trailers, landscape trucks and delivery vehicles. Typical calls are trucks that drop a wheel off the road, vehicles stuck on soft shoulders and trailers that lose a wheel on gravel roads. Because it is far from main highways, a breakdown here can feel isolated.
Rosemont's hills and farms mean seasonal mud, winter ice and summer thunderstorms that wash gravel onto the road. Isolation magnifies each of these, since help is rarely nearby.
Give the road name and the nearest crossroads, and describe any landmark such as a farm or covered bridge. If you cannot get a signal, move to the best spot you can find and call us again. We will bring a wrecker with the winch capacity for rural recoveries.
